Kylie Minogue Wins Lawsuit Against Kylie Jenner Over Name Trademark

Kylie Minogue has reportedly won a legal battle against Kylie Jenner regarding the logo of their first name.

The reality TV star filed a U.S. trademark application for the name "Kylie" back in 2014, looking for protection for the term in connection with commercial services.

On the other hand, a company representing the Australian singer filed a notice of opposition to Jenner's application in 2016, stating it would confuse fans and weaken her brand.

The company also claimed that Minogue, 48, currently owns trademark registrations for the name "Kylie" across numerous entertainment services and music recordings and has even owned Kylie.com since 1996.

At the end of the lawsuit, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office dismissed Jenner's allegation but she is preparing for an appeal.
