Kelly Clarkson is mourning the passing of her dog Joplin.

On Friday, Clarkson, 31, tweeted: "My best friend died yesterday. Joplin was special. He fought his whole life to survive & now he can rest. I loved him."

Kelly posted a shot of her beloved pet.
